“Lambeth Schools Patrol is more than a presence on the streets — it’s a lifeline of trust, safety, and hope for young people navigating daily challenges. We stand not to police, but to protect, listen, and uplift our community — one conversation at a time.”

Lambeth Schools Patrol (LSP) was born out of a community call for action and a series of workshops in which the community played a vital role in the decision to start this project.

The work we do to support both young people and their families provides us with opportunities to seek their feedback on what the believe communities needs are from both a young person centred and a wider community approach.

We strive to empower young people and their families to build resilience, and promote personal development.

The experiences of young people within our community highlights the importance of the work we do in befriending, mentoring, promoting educational progression and community citizenship which aligns with our goal to reducing violence, fostering well-being, and a public health approach to creating solutions and forward planning.

We take a unique approach to our work through the integration of therapeutic practices, music therapy, and self-help strategies both as an organisation and as community leaders.

We regularly hold community consultations, work in partnership and support the needs of the community by participating in borough and London wide initiatives to reduce youth violence.
